Our founder’s story...

Pippa Griffiths has worked in the London and New York fashion industries for 14 years. She has a wealth of experience in designing both men’s and women’s fashion at the designer and high-street (middle market) level. She has designed for many well-known brands such as DKNY Pure, Lezley George, NEXT, All Saints, Burberry Japan and ICB Menswear.

Pippa’s original and creative approach to design mixes sources of inspiration such as current catwalk fashion, street trends, art, fashion history, nature and a sensitivity to the client's needs.

Pippa has come to Japan to create a fashion company for empowered and ambitious women. “Since I came to Japan in July 2006, I have come to believe that Japan has a wealth of possibilities for people that are willing to come."

"With an abundance of fashion brands from local and international designers, you’d think it was every girl’s dream to shop here. However, I soon discovered that Tokyo has only a few shopping options for international women and tall and shapely Japanese women!"

"The more foreign women that I meet, the more I think that it takes a special type of woman to seek adventure in coming here; I want to reflect that spirit of adventure in the style I create.”
